Brand is everything; users eat with their eyes and choose with their minds and come back with their hearts. A platform is a soulless concept without brand identity. Its the essence of what your users experience, why they keep coming back, and what they think of when you’re not in the room.

Even a subtle brand is a thoughtful brand. It should all have a concerted and consistent purpose, and its own unique voice and style, just like people do.

As they say, “first time founders focus on technology, second time founders focus on distribution.”

Most assume it’s just “shilling” or twitter followers or PR press coverage.
