Indeed, probably fragment shaders are better if you want to animate

p5 - i take a smallish texture, sample it, then basically use noise to determine Y with the texture as source of color. sometimes the interpolation creates interesting pseudo transparency. I tried an animated version which proved to be too much for just CPU, and imo lost a bit of the magic.
