I'd say Sequence by Hevey. This project, published on December 4, 2021, matches probably everything I like to see in a genart project. In particular, I find the collection itself very interesting. This project has a lot of variety. You can be frequently surprised by an edition. Here is mine, Sequence #362:

There are generative art collections that are definitely going to be relevant to me in 10 years, because in addition to their intrinsic qualities, the time when I collected them are also very personal and intense memories. Hollow by Jacek Markusiewicz is one of them. Here is #69:

@zancan's Aux Arbres is a strong contender for this, not just a personal favorite but also a collection with historical significance. Here's #33822 from my collection

Hi everyone, DRAGONS by @williamapan, Dec/2021. "A grid of many lines forming a dragon crafted on paper. They all have their own personality" An intriguing and inspiring work that provokes us to think. In addition to technical and aesthetic quality, Dragons put Mapam in the spotlight as an artist.

Imo "Uninhabitable" by @pointline will remain a significant project in the future because, aside from being a wonderful project (like everything by her), it has contributed shattering the stereotype that coding is a male-only field and has paved the way for a series of talented women in generative art 🙌

I would name about 10 such projects for me. But so as not to repeat the previous ones, I will name “Fields” by @erikswahn

Ringers by Dmitri Cherniak https://opensea.io/collection/ringers-by-dmitri-cherniak This was the collection that made generative long form and NFTs click for me. I remember telling my parents about it the Christmas before it released, I didn't quite "get" it yet, but I knew it was something special.

For me, Fidenza. I discovered generative art thanks to it. Had to learn how to code after seeing it almost 3 years ago... Switched paint for code 😅 And also! welcome @tylerxhobbs to farcaster! 👋

For me, a project that will always be important, regardless of how much time passes, is Bravura by @dmarchi , because in addition to having beautiful animation, colors and textures, this was the project that made me fall in love with generative art. https://www.fxhash.xyz/generative/8676

I propose "Farbteiler" by @erikswahn – it's a timeless project, inherently beautiful for its masterful execution of simple rulesets and ingredients. The artist is continuously releasing work on the highest level. I'm pretty sure, it will be considered a relevant work of our time in a decade and far beyond.

"Cuts" by @todemashi. The simplicity and wonderful palettes are timeless, and translate just as well physically as they do digitally. The pieces can feel both delicate and heavy at once. Cuts represents everything I love about generative art. Pictured: #83 owned by @studioyorktown and #134 owned by Vault(forhumans)

Mimizu by @qubibi Here, "MMZ 1" (owned by Trill) In any case, I could have say other collections created by Qubibi, but I think this one is the most emblematic of his production. 🪱

I nominate the incredible Toccata, a collaboration between @andreasrau and @msoriaro of @fxhash. The ability to capture the feeling of nostalgia, decay, impermanence w/such beautiful graphics and melancholic piano. I will always cherish this drop https://www.fxhash.xyz/gentk/KT1U6EHmNxJTkvaWJ4ThczG4FSDaHC21ssvi-1117573

To me, "Farbteiler" by @erikswahn will forever be timeless. Having first witnessed it 2 years ago, it's a series I still look through weekly. The use of color, geometric composition, empty white space that allows each structure to have full focal agency and confidence. It's relation to musical composition is personal.
