Just finished watching! The discussion about speed, especially in the context of media consumption was very interesting. Comparing TikTok's brief retention time with YouTube’s longer watch time is such a nice topic to have right now. Making the episode about speed a great choice to kick things off. Nice meta language there. I think it’s brilliant to run two parallel strategies (which you’re already doing) and track the outcomes: full hour-long live content on YouTube, and then shorter, curated snippets shared directly on Farcaster. As a reference, I work with a few podcast influencers, and many of them have shifted from releasing full-length episodes to focusing on shorter clips that they post regularly on Instagram and TikTok. They still produce full podcasts, but only release selected, fragmented pieces of it. @christin (1/2)

One thing I thought was missing: since you’ve opened up the live chat option, it would be great to wrap up each episode by directly involving us. It could also serve as a crossover call to action with Farcaster. Maybe pose a question and then ask us to cast our thoughts on /okbanger during the episode, and then at the end, share your screen and highlight some of the casts you two liked. This could help keep viewers around until the end and boost the channel’s visibility at the same time :) @christin @cameron

Tomorrow's question: Should you iterate more or iterate less?

I don’t think you should force yourself to iterate just for the sake of it. That can lead to being shallow instead of pushing yourself harder. However, as mentioned in the first episode, “just doing” is still better than doing nothing at all. We can explore rituals and other strategies to help us keep iterating in a disciplined way. Organization and creativity always complement each other much more than people think 👀
