interesting people feel fairly comfortable insulting or lying to a bot publicly

imo the lying and insulting one does to a bot is *generally* closer to the kinds of actions children do to test and understand the boundaries of their world than actual malevolence 

none of us know the limits

Definitely - except the show is 24 hours a day and there are really no coherent laws as implicit threats hanging around

i think most people are “worse” than they admit or even realize about themselves vs a modern standard of “good person”-ness

most of us on this app are very fortunate that we’ve lived lives where we’ve never had to make a truly difficult moral decision

projects like this reveal that

yeah. in that performance it took people 4-5 hours to loose it and do horrible things to her….human nature reveals itself even if you wear gucci in a fancy gallery…
