Yeah, no thank you. I got hired by this pair of brothers in their 80s in 2011. Here I was fresh out of college ready to do 2011 business things, and they handed me one these, a computer that ran on DOS... literal DOS.... and an actual type writer for any client mail I had to send out. My only regret is I didn't get a smart phone until after I quit so I could have taken surreptitious photos of that office that was completely out of time.

It was a wild experience. He asked me IN MY INTERVIEW when I was getting married so that I could get on my husband's health insurance, and save him some money (I was 22). His wife BANNED me from chatting with my coworkers about my upcoming move to a new apartment because me and my then-boyfriend, now-husband were "living-in-sin" and therefore making idle coffee machine chatter about moving truck rentals and packing logistics was akin to openly discussing my sex life in pornographic detail at work. The final straw, was the day that the Cambridge traffic gods were on my side and I got to the office before anyone else. I sat down at my desk, with my Dunks, and started going through my emails. One of the old-man brothers comes in 10 minutes later, absolutely LIVID and screaming at me because "EVERYONE knows that the first WOMAN in the office has to start the coffee machine in the morning" Again... this was 2011.
