A rough patch in ‘11/‘12 working the front desk at a hotel on 3rd shift. I basically got paid to read and think. I reflect on that window as one of my most sustained runs of creativity ie writing poems, synthesizing ideas, unlearning, tilling the mindscape, etc. Wasn’t sustainable, but something was in alignment.

Designing and navigating various contextual arrangements with an enigmatic sense of hope.

Sometimes I wish I was back in the Army with the mind I have now. 

The pockets of captive time with truly no possibility of interruption combined w the realization of my drive to create feels like it would hit so different.
