Blockchain stuff isn’t a step function improvement over any existing financial technology

It’s a novel economic incentive layer wrapped in a technology which makes it a step function improvement in coordination. 

Applications should revolve around this if they hope to get adoption.

Having a unique feature != step function improvement in how that thing feels to users

Obviously I’m here so I’m on the train, but for the payments use case most people in most cases clearly prefer transacting in fiat

For the vast majority of cross border dollars the SWIFT/wire transfer paradigm with reversibility works exceedingly well

Places where crypto “is better” is generally a result of ideological frustration or being unserved by existing tech (which is crucially diff than underserved)

This means 2x better imo not 10x
