But the 4-Star General in charge of the school did know wtf that meant and spent 45 minutes shouting about “those god damn ME ME’s”

A classic instructor’s trick to build mental resilience is to plan challenging run, ruck, march, etc routes to loop back by the start.

The trick is to act normal but then go right past it to continue the route

The bait + switch creates instant hardship via pure depressive energy 🫡

Usually yea - that’s why it’s important to only do it every once in a while 

The alternative implementation is to do it EVERY time bc even when they know it’s coming there’s always 20% or so who still just get crushed emotionally or just pissed off every time bc they know it’s coming lmao
