Zuck needs to understand: Apple products' resale value, if taken care of properly, is substantial compared to other products. Apple products are an investment.

The craftsmanship in software and more importantly hardware, and the novelty of the product. There's no denying, people might love Android or Quest, but they certainly envy Apple. I've used Windows, Linux, Android, PDAs, all sorts of devices in the past (and sure a lot of us also have), but Apple is peak form.
