Officers don’t have to do basic unless you go to OCS

I did ROTC at VMI for 4 years and then my infantry officer course at Ft Benning in Georgia for my initial training

Very humid haha

You do function specific training for officers as like an equivalent so I did Bradley Leaders Course and other mechanized focused supplemental training things like that
