I worry that my casting frequency has gotten me labeled as spam I also worry that my choice to expand my interactions outside of the pool of approved Farcasters has done the same I also also worry that sharing this might make it worse.

Channels have been at odds for a while but I don’t think losing the minor algo boost is that detrimental. I think there’s something worthwhile in changing the context of a cast merely by quote casting it into channels /bad-takes, /dont-do-this, /someone-build, etc. /lounge is also a great, novel example!

Yea I def agree - I think the closest we’ve come to PMF for channels is using them as bits haha I’m trying to figure out how to make /lounge stand alone as its own thing but it’s really hard to orchestrate its value outside the FC context

I think that’s fine honestly; make it a place to be on Farcaster first before worrying about external audiences. Afaik that’s how all successful subreddits start, laser focused and cozy and eventually grow rapidly once search engines and other channels pick up on quality content.
