Where do y’all store your ideas for later? Notion? A .txt file? On scraps of paper in a jar defended by a raccoon? Relevant only if you want a robot to think more like you 🤖🧠🫡

If I start writing about it in that moment, I pull out the pen and notebook. If I don’t, then a quick jot in Evernote.

And then what do you do with it?

I used to use Roam Research and I had a good system for storing quotes. Also used it to write a daily paragraph of what I accomplished for the day. I got out of the practice of using it, but it’s the best tool I’ve found if you’re storing a lot and need to search through it. I want to get back to it myself.

It depends on what it is. Journaling is for myself, ends up in a notebook and stays there mostly. I have a separate notebook for poetry and that is sometimes minted as an NFT or submitted to a journal to potentially get published. The rest is usually for my newsletter and that I do almost entirely in Evernote.
