What's your opinion on the weird USD II scheme they have going on? Also the KYC requirements?

You can use Burner without USD2, it is just for simplifying stable gifting to normies (no gas needed). KYC is to onramp to USD2 1-1, no fees, but you can also get it via Uniswap.

I just thought it was odd that they're offering a free one to people who onramp to some weird stablecoin where the only search results for it are the Burner website itself and then KYC. Maybe I just wasn't looking hard enough for information about the token though.

Basescan finally added token info; the token is managed by Bridge (who’s getting acquired by Stripe) so backed 1:1 with dollars. But yeah, if you don’t want to KYC then the wallet can be freely used without USD2.

Yeah like I said what weirded me out was that there's no information on it on Google or my preferred search engine. No relevant search results for "Bridge USD II" or "Bridge USD2"
