In 2010, a programmer named Laszlo Hanyecz made history by conducting the first real-world transaction using Bitcoin. He famously paid 10,000 BTC for two delivered pizzas. At the time, Bitcoin was a fledgling digital currency, and the transaction was valued at roughly $41. Fast forward to today, and those 10,000 Bitcoins would be worth hundreds of millions of dollars. Laszlo's pizzas have since become a symbol within the cryptocurrency community, affectionately known as "Bitcoin Pizzas." This anecdote serves as a reminder of the unpredictable and often astonishing journey of cryptocurrencies, from a niche experiment to a mainstream financial asset.
