At 12:33 p.m. this Monday, the moment the massive blackout that affected the entire Peninsula broke out, and for five seconds 15 gigawatts of electricity "suddenly disappeared" from the electrical grid, the equivalent of 60% of the energy that was being consumed at that time. But no official statements on why it happened.

Just 61% of Spain's territory has recovered yet.

I can say that at this moment Spain has recovered 61% of the electric power as reported on national radios. Non-digital radio have been the main way to being updated during the blackout. In my zone about 8 out of 10 shops closed because couldn't accept only cash or scan products. Trad local shops were opened accepting cash.

I've got electricity power and good internet connection at home since 5:45 p.m. (was lost some minutes before 1:00 p.m.) 100km. NE of Barcelona. Bad 4g/5g. Seems phone towers are randomly powered as only about 50% of catalan territory has recovered from the blackout.
