made hal a little happier today one thing ive never had as a runner is an ego im slow & ive always been slow i remember in 6th grade running line drills (they were called skwercides back then which now i think would probably be not great? probably not great then either?) anyway, id always finish last with a red face 🥵 but i got most improved player that year (before quitting to be a cheerleader in 7th grade after mortifying my father for fixing my hair while i was supposed to be playing defense) anyway my point is, only .1% of the american population has ever run a half marathon & i'm in that .1% and this year, i'm going to make it to a full marathon and into the .05%
