trying something, Experiment A.

Tipping 1000 at a time until my daily $degen allocation runs out for 23 June, to replyoooors who don't have Supercast yet and want to try it for a month.

sharing my observations:

- had conversations with some decent, real users I would not have otherwise encountered
- I paid some bots
- paying obvious bots perhaps(?) gave some real users the push to overcome their shyness and ask in public

- degen tips allowed me to survey the underlying level of bot radiation. It feels about 40% for my middle-class account casting in a medium-popularity, semi-niche channel (guesstimate 8 out of 25 replies)

- not obvious that other giveaway methods solve the problem of bots taking all the crypto: rain, guns, frame drops all put the onus back on the skin-in-the-game giver

- I guess I could have used Priority Mode or Power Badge as a filter, but that does not align with my goals for this exercise

- I didn't use degen tips as my first or only giveaway method. I've done faucets, bounties, frame drops, direct txns onchain using my wallet

idk, my financial engineer's background makes me imagine that if we could keep the bots from getting the crypto while also reaching new people, we could unlock value that's not being realized otherwise
