AI is evolving very fast, and it's important to understand that solely AI generated content is not totally correct and usable while it helps in creating content and makes it easy to create long form content. It's still not as good as the creativity a human can strike while writing. 

So I consider that it can be authentic only with an human touch to it otherwise it's just a piece of information. Content imo is about telling about something in a creative way and AI simply lacks that creative right now.
