a month later i still can't login to warpcast on mobile all i'd like to do is to fully LOG OUT first, so that the app doesn't force me to log in with face ID from the past, due to my phone change @aferg.eth & @priyanka kindly helped me amplify the original cast and @ted said it'll be looked into, but here i am 🥲

Any reason why you are not signing in by pressing "Sign in" below on the same screen?

gm gt, thanks for taking a look - i explained in the original cast with the screenshot: clicking on it forces me to sign in with my face ID, which, again, i have no access to as it's a face ID linked to my old phone

I am mentioning clicking the purple button all the way down on that section. Not the one with your pfp and username. You may need to scroll the element to see?

Press "sign in with another account" and that should take you to the screen where you can input yor recovery phrase for your account and log in. Also make sure you are actually on the latest version of the app by visiting the App Store.

already tried that as well as i didn't have my recovery phrase with me and so tried with and completed the account recovery process, but when i got the recovery link and clicked on it on mobile, i got the error "no recovery in progress" and yes, whenever i give this another try (multiple times) ive made sure im always on the latest version

If you don't have access to your recovery phrase your only option is to request recovery. We had some issues on that flow a while back might be good for you to re-try.

okay yea that's what i thought and tried, but after waiting for the request to be approved last time (as shown in the screenshot), opening the link on the mobile app didn't work as mentioned ... but i just tried and requested again - will let you know once i get to try logging in after recovery is approved again ...
