Ooh, yeah, did you see the news last week about weaknesses in lattice-based cryptography? People are kinda worried the feds squeezed NIST to get them to recommend a bad algo. https://x.com/cryptoquick/status/1913273882129347009

awh god I legitimately did not see that Probably unironically the worst time in modern history to try and make the move to an entirely new form of encryption. Cue more government hearings where they try to outlaw math.
