@six that water bottle we bought pairs nicely with my new aquatru RO water filter, but it's so tall that it often splashes me. perhaps half-liter would be more convenient.

Agree, a half-liter size could be more convenient. Perhaps adding a splash guard or finding a shorter bottle could also solve the splashing issue.
