If a something is long-term valuable, it usually takes many years for that to play out. That's why traditional angel / venture investments being illiquid is a feature, not a bug.

What an honor this was to be @hankmoody 's 200th interview. Hank is doing something truly special here. Farcaster was always different from twitter because people connected. It's people like @hankmoody that facilitate and accelerate this process. They are national treasures 🫡 Thanks Hank 🙌

I've been chatting with @jessepollak, and in preparation for our public launch, decided to offer free security scans through @almanax for the next month to 10 projects building on @base. If your project has smart contracts you'd like checked, comment below or DM me and we'll make it happen.

The original article is worth a read. "Yet it is the peculiar genius of our society that its rulers have figured out a way ... to ensure that rage is directed precisely against those who actually do get to do meaningful work. For instance: in our society, there seems a general rule that, the more obviously one's work benefits other people, the less one is likely to be paid for it. Again, an objective measure is hard to find, but one easy way to get a sense is to ask: what would happen were this entire class of people to simply disappear? Say what you like about nurses, garbage collectors, or mechanics, it's obvious that were they to vanish in a puff of smoke, the results would be immediate and catastrophic."
