We won't know what they actually can reconstruct. In the same way we can't tell if another human is truly real either. Just comes down to whether they can appear to replicate a person to an outside observer.

The crypto industry should be careful not to become "doomsday preppers". Preparation for tail events is useful, but taken to the extreme, becomes very negative EV. Does max decentralization bear the same risk?

When will the "machine rights" movement start? Based on software alone, I would guess <5 years until we cannot disprove sentience. But, due to our body-centric biases, it probably won't pick up steam until robotics catches up. So maybe 10 years? WDYT?

To excite an employee, show them how great your company is. To excite a founder, show them your problems.

Makes sense. Same thing happened with music. As production costs came down, the best music is electronic, or vocals are reduced to a simple hook. More computers, fewer humans.

Is it widely accepted that LLMs are now passing the Turing Test? If not, why not?

Very interesting article Tim. Are you saying "no, because airdrops are controlled by the contract owner"?

I'm curious what's the law around crawling sites that disregard robots.txt and post mirrors of content.

It's confusing because it mixes 3 different types of data - current values, velocity, and acceleration. I think you can convey at most two types in one chart without getting confusing. I'd drop the third row entirely, since you already capture growth rate in the 2nd column. And clarity time scales per other comments

I agree. If we're building a digital nation's infrastructure, cross chain bridge fees are the tolls. In the early days, toll collectors probably did make bank. Long term, if that's a bulk of value, that would be a big problem
