Peaceful and beautiful days are often ignored in our memories, until one day the harmony is permanently broken, and we begin to miss those warm daily moments. The author's language skills are really great, he depicts each character and scene in detail, and his writing style is particularly smooth. Stacy takes readers into the hot and humid South of the United States, and immerses the heroine in experiencing the darkest moments in her life. And she is very good at leaving little foreshadowings in the text, waiting for readers to discover the deeper meaning. This is a True Crime book that is worth slowing down and reading carefully. @fdgg @gentlery
