Chilean presidential candidates mentioned (among other stuff) tokenization and even stablecoins for Chile. Some of them know the real issue, regulation for fintechs is made to keep the old monopolies safe, and to make sustantial things almost impossible for entrepreneurs. We do have the local talent, and a lot of talent, that's not the issue. It's an issue of power grabbing. Has been my experience with stablecoins here, but there's a light, and more important, there's will, cause even if the candidates do nothing after being elected, as it is usual, the entrepreneurs, the builders have the will to make the changes.
