I would love to hear more about raindrops and how distribution for them is decided.
Is it true it's up to the cast creator? Or is it automated

I can answer this one!

Distribution is all up to the raindrop creator.

Only casts that are liked by the author will share in the degen raindrop.

At the end of the month, along with your tip claim, you go to the raindrop tab and claim those degens also!

Cause people are gonna do what people are gonna do.

The total amount of the raindrop is distributed EVENLY among all the LIKED casts by the author.

There is actually nothing stopping them from only distributing to their friends and @jacek should consider this criteria if its being abused to simply make the leaderboard for rewards.

As far as amount distributed, is that also up to the creator?
If so, isn't that a giant potential area for exploitation? 

Say, someone creates a fat raindrop and people reply and recast like a mfer including all the creators "frens". What's to stop them from simply awarding the raindrop to those select frens?
