The Mitsubishi Model A was not only the first Mitsubishi car, but also the first car to be mass-produced in Japan. The original model was equipped with a 2.8-liter inline-four engine with 35 hp, which allowed the car to accelerate to 96 km per hour. Over four years, 22 such cars were assembled.
