In Arkhangelsk, a unique structure is built every year - a winter crossing over the river. It is dismantled and assembled manually several times a day before and after the icebreaker passes along the river.The staff does not wait for the ice to freeze again, but lays wooden bridges immediately after the ship passes. I lived in Arkhangelsk for 5 years while studying at university. I have heard about these bridges, but I would not dare to walk there 🙃
