I've been finding the metas early, but fumbling beyond belief because of impatience.

Hold on to losers forever because I had the tolerance for it. But cut winners quickly cause I want to stack gains.

I know exactly what you mean. And a great way to avoid doing this is setting goals. 

One thing I always advise my group, is to write down the price at entry, a price you want to sell at for profits, and reasons why you would sell it if things go south. 

Doing this helps u stay strong to hold out for higher price targets. 

For example, if you bought $LINK at 20, but thought it was going to 100. You actually need to WRITE IT DOWN. pen and paper. It does something to the brain I think. Ideally you will write down the plan prior to purchase. But not even i am able to do that everytime. 

You need to get deep into the coins you like. I never sold my bitcoin because the deeper down the rabbit hole I go, the more I realize I'm never gonna sell. 

As far as a real tip. You can always see if a defi protocol accepts ur tokens as collateral. And take out loans against urself to get funds if needed without having to liquidate the asset itself.
