I've just tried using /anky. It was a really good meditative exercise. It's very nice to see the project focused on self-development and introspection. Sir @jpfraneto.eth, respect for doing such a thing when most of the industry is merely obsessed with money.

Why would you prefer Farcaster over Twitter or Reddit? What are the real benefits? Frankly, I just don't see them. I might be missing something though.

Thanks for sharing! This is indeed interesting. I hadn't thought of it from this angle. It would be interesting to add bots to those charts to see the real platform usage, but that's not realistic. :) A friend invited me to Farcaster, and I was a bit skeptical. So, I decided to research it a bit.

I can think of a sole reason for that. They couldn't figure out the recommendation mechanism. So not to generate a feed for you they've just made you follow some semi-random people. Likely based on the "interests" you've picked during the sign up.

There seems to be another problem as well. Fracasted is infested by bots. I merely registered and got followed by 7 random "people". That'd be interesting to know how many *real* people use the app.
