205-metre high television tower in Serbia, located on Mount Avala. The tower was built from 1961 to 1965. On April 29, 1999, the tower was destroyed during the bombing as part of Operation Allied Force. On December 21, 2006, the restoration of the tower began, after which the official opening ceremony took place on April 21, 2010. I was there, stunning views of Belgrade and the surrounding area.
