Real question:
How do any of you actually finish songs? It's something I always struggle with. I often find myself just writing a section and then listening back to it over and over for the enjoyment of it with no idea or drive to add to it. Just me?

I have a strategy for this. Once you have a loop you like - pull up a couple tracks in a similar style — pull them into your session. If in Ableton make them the same tempo and key. Now copy your favorite ones arrangement (use it as a map).
