Types of Solana Rugs: There are four types: Remove liquidity, Mint, Blacklist, and Bundle sell. Tools like Pump.fun can eliminate 3/4 of these, leaving bundle sell as a common method

Bundle Sell Rugs: These can be done with Pump.fun bundler or outsourced tools using multi-wallets. Dev buys a lot of supply, people fomo, dev dumps. To avoid: check if it's bundled and if dev bought a lot

Other Solana Rugs: Remove Liquidity: Dev removes liquidity. Look for lock/burn. Mint: Dev burns liquidity, then mints and dumps. Wait for mint renouncement. Blacklist: Only whitelisted wallets can sell. Look for equal volume patterns on charts. EVM Rugs: EVM rugs are diverse. Most common is removing liquidity with a private transaction. Also watch for setfees99 – wait for renouncement or check limited max taxes. Any suspicious contract activity could indicate a rug. General Tips: On both Solana and EVM, wait for milestones like burn/lock/renouncement to avoid rugs, but be aware this might mean a higher entry point. Train to identify rugs quickly as patterns repeat.
