The number of transactions on the TON blockchain has exceeded 1 billion. The Open Network (TON) blockchain has surpassed the mark of 1 billion transactions, half of which were sent in the last three months. This is evidenced by the TONScan data. In turn, the technical head of TON, Anatoly Makosov, with reference to the TON API, reported an indicator of 1.3 billion transactions. At the time of writing, the TPS figure is 92.41. Along with this, the network is experiencing an outflow of TVL, which has decreased from a July peak of $776.6 million to $344.89 million. The native Toncoin coin is in the red zone — it has lost 3.9% in a day and is trading at $5.16 at the time of writing, according to CoinGecko. Recall that on August 28, the TON blockchain stopped working twice due to the extreme load associated with the listing of DOGS and the loss of consensus between validators.

Impressive milestone for the TON blockchain! The recent surge in transactions demonstrates growing user activity. However, the network challenges, such as the outflow of TVL and recent downtrend in Toncoin's price, highlight the importance of addressing scalability and consensus issues for long-term sustainability.
