Apropos of...

I’ve got enough rust study under my belt now to strike a blow. I’m an old smalltalk/c/c++/java coder so it’s all making sense. It’s uncomfortable to change but I already know I love it. Not a cargo fan tho; I don’t like unverified imports so I’ll stick to standard os libs and build from there.

Tradfi coder by day, hacker by night. Doesn’t know night from day. Freelance scribe. Dad cook. Dog butler.  Happy Grandpa. Draws badly.

Embracing the change is all part of leveling up, and ditching Cargo for OS libraries is a solid, hands-on move. Can’t wait to see what you’ll build with Rust
