You just keep using paper and pens until you’re out or you’ve finished the job. Then you take a photo of the finished product and send it to a printer to prep for distribution.

Software handles the copies and distribution. Why has presentation layer become such a big deal?

I think it’s because people lack taste to know what a thing should look like in the first place. And then because they haven’t bothered to develop taste they feel no need to understand how to produce such a thing.

Operating Figma to draw plans and writing CSS to make them real is the easiest part.
