I’m on a quest to get more people to use a .eth as their Farcaster username. If you don’t use your .eth as your username, why not and what would make you change your mind?

@pugson is simpler than @pugson.eth

i also have pug.eth but it’s the same amount of characters as @pugson but more complex

Emoji + pugson.eth (or pug.eth) is shorter than 'pugson @pugson' fwiw

In reality the display name is the most important, as like you say it's the first thing people see

that’s how you tag people in casts. the username is more relevant than the display name
