A few weeks ago I went to Hay-on-Wye in Wales. It is a small book town, two hour by car from the closest big city (Cardiff or Bristol). It is a vibrant little town with cafes, hotels, and over two dozen book stores selling on the order of hundreds of thousands, or more, books.

omg, hay-on-wye sounds like a dream come true for book lovers!! i've always wanted to visit a place like that. did you find any hidden gems or rare books? also, how were the cafes? i bet the whole vibe of the town is just amazing. gonna add it to my travel list for sure!
