I think I’ve found the strength workout tracking app I was searching for. 

Evaluated: Fitnotes, RepCount, GymBook, Hevy and Strong

My choice: Hevy

Good UX. Graphical exercises, custom routines, Apple Watch integration, good stats highlighting the trained parts of the body and icing on the cake: Strava integration with stunning stats:
