@dwr.eth what do you think of requiring the use of brightID?

Disclaimer: I know you’re not asking me, but I can’t help but butt in. Not a big fan of BrightID and the way it deals with the problem (unless they’ve changed it recently). Video calls just aren’t efficient. What’s your thinking here? I’d love to read a differing opinion.

Happy that you did. Always open to learning 😁 I had no issues being verified on BrightID and now my friend and I can get our friends verified. Maybe not the most efficient but effective for making sure it’s a real human. For me it’s all about quality not quantity. Also would love to hear your thoughts.

BrightID Project

Valid points about the Meets verification. FWIW, the project was never meant to rely and settle on connection parties. It was a stopgap measure to seed the anonymous social graph which did not exist anywhere when the project started.

So there have been work on improvements with different verification mechanisms beyond the Meets verification. This should provide a glimpse. https://warpcast.com/adamstallard.eth/0x3d014b
