I think there is life out there among the stars, even intelligent life! I just don't know if we will ever meet aliens. The fermi paradox has so many compelling reasons. For example, a society with technology for interstellar travel will likely also quite easily destroy itself. :(

There are so many facets to the Fermi paradox, but there's no room in a single cast haha.

Another one I really like is the possibility that there's a super-powerful alien race out there hell-bent on destruction and whenever a society achieves strong enough radio transmitters to be detected they get stomped 😆

I do! I know it seems like free will might be impossible given the current laws of physics and the strong evidence for determinism. But I think our understanding of consciousness is extremely limited and we will one day learn the vastness and complexity of thought and the randomness that could lead to free will.

Man.... I really love the Trifid nebula. It's like the gorgeous little gem in the heart of the milky way and it contains all the major types of nebula in one. Dark nebula, emission nebula, and reflection nebula... so it's just magical.

Thank you so much! Yes almost all my shots are done with a camera similar to a DSLR but internally cooled to support long exposures! And I simply screw it on to the back of a telescope and use a star-tracking tripod/mount.
