Different uses cases, both can exist together! I do agree at the core sentiment that $0.30 mints have muddied the perceivable value of art and how an artist should price their work.

Lmao maybe. Not hard to see how “free mints” may very well be creating a cohort of “collectors” that simply don’t value digital art because they pay essentially nothing for it Hopefully that’s not the case for most social media minters but you can never be too sure

apparently if the tech allows something to be commoditized, it will be I wasn't in crypto for the NFT craze and only got a small taste in April, but it's hard to imagine we go back.
