almost every relative on my dads side of the family has gotten COVID in the past 2 weeks. it’s hard to find any actual numbers b/c they’ve stopped publishing them, but it is not looking good at all for China right now.

Hope that they fully recover. 

It feels so pointless to have instituted years of zero covid policies then ease restrictions this way

i think it got to the point where they couldn’t control the Chinese populace—too many riots + economy tanking
