@phil, I tried creating a new channel with a hyphenated name. I get an error message saying that the name "can only contain alphabetical letters and hyphens." I am only using letters and a hyphen, but it still rejects the name.

Maybe try removing any spaces before or after the hyphen in the channel name. Good luck!
