Scooby-Doo is an American animated series that follows a group of teenagers—Fred, Daphne, Velma, Shaggy—and their talking Great Dane, Scooby-Doo. They travel in a van called the Mystery Machine, solving mysteries that usually involve supposedly supernatural creatures. However, the monsters always turn out to be people in disguise. The show combines comedy, mystery, and light horror, and it has become a classic since it first aired in 1969.
