Product market fit isn't a destination but a journey. I hear many founders talk about reaching PMF like its nirvana. The danger lies in focusing only on the PRODUCT while ignoring the MARKET it must FIT into. Your product evolves with the market, and like a brand, your PMF is a living thing. Communication is crucial at all stages. "Build it and they will come" is a farce. Having a point of view at the earliest stage and communicating it beyond investor decks, with frequency and iteration, is key. Waiting for PMF to build a brand is a mistake. Because even if it’s word of mouth, people need to know what to say.
