The Múlafossur Waterfall with the picturesque village of Gásadalur, Faroe Islands🇫🇴

The stunning waterfall cascades directly into the North Atlantic Ocean from a height of approximately 60 meters (197 feet).

The small remote village of Gásadalur is perched on the edge of the island’s cliffs, just walking distance from the waterfall.

The village is sparsely populated, with only a few inhabitants. There are no railings or easy-access pathways to the waterfall, giving the surrounding area an untouched feel. 

Before 2004, the village was isolated due to its difficult-to-reach location, accessible only by a strenuous hike over the mountains. Since then, a tunnel was built, significantly improving access.
