I said screw it and went ahead and bought a dGEN1 using $DEGEN today with the 10% off sale. I also have a Solana Chapter 2 mobile that will be coming in the Spring. My wife is gonna be confused why the hell I have a bunch of random mobile devices coming lmao. "It's for the airdrops babe!" (at least I hope there's airdrops) To be fair, the Solana Chapter 2 has already received about 1/2 the value paid back in airdrops and it's still 4-5 months away from shipping the actual device, hopefully the dGEN1 is similar!

Tbf he said it beats the iPhone 13 in some metrics, definitely not all lol. It cost me 23,750 $degen today, normally 26,000 $degen. Works out to a little over $400 I think it was.

I assume Vitalik’s was one of the first made so they could share it, for all of us ordering they’re likely still in the manufacturing stage and using the funds from the pre-orders to help bootstrap it. Just a guess though. And exactly, for $400, even if I don’t get the full value back in airdrops, it’s still another phone and will likely be a collectible in the future as well!
