In-app notification when a cast makes it to trending

Trending = more distribution

A cast on the trending feed will have a chance of being globally recommended in all Warpcast home feeds.

We're also revamping the trending algorithm. Will have more casts and goal is to boost small / newer accounts.

such a great change, will be so much easier to onboard new creatives that have been scared of joining because they dont want to cast into a black hole for a few months before ever being seen.

Maybe? I read this as "some users may see their unusually good content elevated to global reach" -- which is useful but won't quiet the complainers who are wasting time with this "cast into a black hole for three months" strategy. Why anyone would do that on purpose is beyond me lol

If only those "cast into a black hole for 3 months" people would realize that if you spend a couple weeks being an insane replyor and building your fren circle and network that you'll have people to see your casts, from there growth happens lol

Truth, and let’s be real, it’s not like X is any different, if you show up there with banger casts and no network you’l l also be casting into a black hole for an indefinite amount of time. Not sure why they think it’s different here.
